TOM CUMMINGS
FOUNDER, LEADING VENTURES
Tom is the founder of Leading Ventures, an investor in social capital for the next generation of businesses.
He has founded, financed and built companies and consortia, including PARAS Ecos with Paul Gilding, Cambridge Energy Research Associates, Executive Learning Partnership and GABV.org, and has served as head of leadership development and the Center for Expertise in both ABN AMRO Bank and Unilever NV.
Tom has contributed as visiting professor at the Universities of Cambridge, Pretoria, Insead and Nyenrode and was a Research Fellow at IMD and Imperial College developing a theory of innovation through business alliances and social networks.
Tom has authored "Leadership Landscapes" and "Nine Visions of Capitalism" (with CH Turner and F. Trompenaars) and has a number of articles and book chapters to his credit.
He enjoys supporting next gen business leaders and building healthy dynamics in executive boards. He is currently designing an emerging leaders program for Tallberg Foundation and serves on the B Lab Europe Board.
